Reuven Grehan

is a science fiction artist from southern New Hampshire. In his works, he depicts scenes of an optimistic future where man comfortably lives among the stars. Reuven strives to produce realistic scenes with emphasis on technical detail to make his ideas believable. With the exception of his black and white work, he tends to use a warmer color pallet centering around his favorite color, amber, despite the cold nature of his subject.

Although he has had some formal training, he is largely self taught. Starting right after high school in 2010, he began working with pencil and pen to create detailed drawings of trains and railroad equipment. Over time he switched subjects to focus on space and science fiction to explore a more diverse array of mediums including pen & ink, marker, acrylic paint, and even digital platforms like Gimp.

Now he has returned to the subject of railroad art in hopes to marry his interest in railroad transportation with his love of space exploration and science fiction.

Day Job

In normal life, he also retains a day job as a locomotive engineer running a local quarry train for a concrete plant in southern NH.
